Lead Vocal/Guitar
Michael has been influenced by an array of performers, from traditional country artists such as George Jones and Alan Jackson, to popular rock, folk, and Motown acts of the 60's, 70's, and 80's. In his early twenties, Michael broke in his chops by playing local clubs in the South Georgia and South/Central Florida areas.

John
Pedal Steel Guitar
Early on John was intrigued with the sound of pedal steel guitar on records by Conway Twitty, Buck Owens, Ernest Tubb, Ray Price and many others. John held the position of staff steel guitarist for the Wheeling West Virginia Jamboree for two years. During his run with the Jamboree, John backed up many of the country stars of the day, including Crystal Gayle, Don Gibson, Dave Dudley, Red Sovine, and others.
Brent
Drums/Vocals
Born in Honolulu, Hawaii, and grew up in the small town of Toccoa, Georgia. He grew up on classic rock, country and R&B. He credits the great vocal groups from the 50's and 60's for his ability to sing great harmony.
Tony
Bass Guitar
At the age of eleven, Tony began playing the bass guitar. Tony attended college at the in Florida where he acquired a B.A. in music performance on the double bass (Bull Fiddle). He has also backed up Carl Gardner and the original Coasters.
Jason
Guitar/Vocals
Jason was born in the Washington D.C. area. Jason received his first guitar at the age of fourteen. Artist and bands such as Otis Redding, Boston, The Eagles, The Allman Brothers and Diamond Rio were this developing talent's primary influence. Jason didn't waste any time pursuing his music career and began touring with Hoosier Country at the age of sixteen. In 2001, a former guitarist in Michael Stacey's original backing band suggested that Michael consider Jason as a possibility to fill the vacant acoustic guitar position. Jason was the last musician to come aboard the backing band, but since has been involved with Michael Stacey Productions right up to the point of becoming a permanent figure in the Michael Stacey Band. In early 2002, Jason recommended to Michael that he listen to a fellow guitarist and friend. The musician in question was Brad Newell.
Brad
Lead Guitar
Born into a musical family with a father who played guitar, he quickly became interested in music himself. In high school he played drums in the marching bands as well as the guitar in the Jazz Band. At the age of fifteen, Brad made the most critical decision of his life and began focusing more time and energy on the guitar. Brad has backed the Diamonds, John Berry, and a variety of other artist. His main influences have been Van Halen, Steve Morse, Eric Johnson, Albert Lee, and Brent Mason.
In closing, developing The Band has been an extensive and tedious process. Subsequently, the outcome has produced a well-rounded, extremely talented and disciplined group of musicians with one common goal, to make the best music possible for their audience.
Mike and the band have been featured in newspapers, major magazines, and television programs throughout the southeast.
