Drive Time Band is an Atlanta based show band that has been in the making since 1994. Jazz musician, writer, arranger, producer and business owner, Mr. Mack, started the group as a jazz duo pleasing young and old alike with music and entertainment all around the southeast.
The group has since then, evolved into an 11 piece show band that has entertained all types of audiences through parties, corporate events, wedding receptions and conventions. The band is comprised of a smoking 5 piece rhythm section, 5 voice ensemble of tight harmony,and seasoned with a powerful 3 piece horn section. Members of the band have 60 plus years of experience in the music and entertainment industry with some of the members performing with nationally known artist. Combining the best of Atlanta musicians, the musicians of Drive Time bring decades of collective experience from the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, the Atlanta jazz circuit, to country, blues, metal and pop, making them a melting pot of diversity.

What a wonderful and professional band! This was the most effortless brush with perfection I have ever experienced. I didn’t have to do a thing but select your band. You all arrived on Saturday night and performed as if you had read our minds as to what music we had imagined for our daughter’s wedding! All of the song choices were superb and so well suited for our guests. From the first dances right to the very end of the evening, all of the music was perfectly selected and very much enjoyed. WOW WOW WOW!!! You all were truly amazing last Saturday night! The energy and excitement you generated was spectacular! You all delivered in a big way. You were awesome. We were excited to hear this band and the hospital Auxiliary Gala Committee asked Drive Time to be the band for the Annual Spring Gala and Hospital Benefit. We were not disappointed. The more than 350 patrons danced until the music stopped when the city ordinance required us to end our event, but we could have danced all night. It was easy to plan with Mack whose hometown demeanor is sincere and charming. We found the band members to be professional both on and off stage. We look forward to having Drive Time back for our Gala in 2014.
